We went to the top, climbing 284 steps but there is a stop along the way where you can rest; I would guess that’s after about 225 steps. There are bathrooms (clean !) and benches at that rest stop.…Full review by Gary S

We did not do the guided tour, but did go up to the top. There are enough video screens and information boards all over that I don't think you would miss much if you did not take the tour.
