Anthony Poole is a family medicine Physician Assistant who has been treating adult and pediatric patients in South Carolina since his graduation from MUSC's PA Program in 2009. He spent most of his early career focused on rural health and providing care to underserved communities across the state. He is passionate about health equity and ensuring that all patients receive high quality healthcare regardless of their background, race, financial status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. He enjoys being a part of a multidisciplinary care team that treat patients with dignity and respect. Clinically, he focuses on preventing chronic disease through lifestyle and behavior changes and involves patients in their plan of care. He strives to control patient's chronic conditions through evidence-based treatment plans and ensures patients are properly screened for cancer and other chronic diseases according to the most up to date guidelines.
