Laidley is a rural town and locality in the Lockyer Valley Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, the locality of Laidley had a population of 3,809 people. Laidley is situated within the Lockyer Valley of South East Queensland east of the Great Dividing Range and close to the northern foothills of the Main Range. The town is located 84.2 kilometres west of Brisbane, the state capital, and 57 kilometres east of Toowoomba. The Warrego Highway is around 10 kilometres to the north, and the town sits on the Brisbane–Charleville railway line. Laidley–Plainland Road exits to the north.
