A Cold Weather Advisory will remain in effect through 9 a.m. Monday morning. The temperature will dip into the teens in many areas, and wind chill values will plummet into the single digits. More sunshine returns for most of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, but that sunshine won’t provide much warmth, with highs only climbing into the 30s.

Lows Tuesday morning were in the 20s and lows Wednesday are expected to be in the 30s, an improvement but it's still cold. North Texas should see highs rebound into the 60s on Thursday and Friday, but it's short-lived.

A strong arctic cold front is making its way to Texas bringing an arctic airmass that could likely bring a hard freeze. Snow chances remain unknown.
