Police are probing the death of a woman in her 30s after she was found in a hotel in Blackpool. Emergency services rushed to the Village Hotel on East Park Drive shortly before 9.30am on Monday (September 23).

A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in a hotel room. The woman, in her 30s, was discovered at the Village Hotel in Blackpool at about 09:30 GMT on Monday, Lancashire Police said. Her death is being treated as unexplained.

Police were called on Monday morning (September 23), to reports of a sudden death at the Village Hotel, on East Park Drive.
