The Xcel Energy Center, home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and PWHL's Minnesota Frost, will now be known as Grand Casino Arena starting in September.

Kurt Wescott is a die-hard Minnesota Wild fan and season ticket holder. He's also a neighbor of the team as he manages Wescott Station, his family's antique store, one block west of Xcel Energy Center. "My initial reaction is, how am I going to stop calling it the X?" Wescott said.

The Minnesota Wild will play the upcoming season at Grand Casino Arena after a naming rights deal with the tribal gaming and hospitality company that succeeds the venue’s original name, Xcel Energy Center.
