An arctic front has already moved across the rest of Texas, bringing freezing temperatures. Snow, sleet or ice could come as early as Monday night.

Snow totals will be 2-5” with isolated totals at 6” total inches of snow in Houston. Ice accumulations will be hazardous for drivers creating hazardous conditions.

As confidence in the forecast continues to grow, meteorologists say there could be heavy snowfall, particularly north of Interstate 10, with some areas potentially seeing up to five inches of snow, according to a National Weather Service update on Sunday.
