While there is uncertainty in the overall track and intensity of the system, interests in Cuba, Central America and Florida should monitor the progress the system through the weekend and early next week.

The tropical wave we've been tracking in the Central Caribbean has been tagged Invest 99-L. It will likely be a tropical depression by the end of the week. As the system moves into the western Caribbean Sea, the National Hurricane Center says it's producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.

A disturbance in the Caribbean has a high chance of developing into a tropical depression by the end of the week and some computer models show that it may eventually become Tropical Storm Sara. According to the National Hurricane Center,
