Huntsville Police say officers responded to a home on Oakdale Terrace around 10 p.m. When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot to death. On Friday, the victim’s family identified the deceased as 46-year-old Jalil Mohammad.

Authorities identified the victim killed in a shooting that happened Thursday night in Huntsville. Huntsville Police say they responded to a shooting in progress on the 2700 block of Oakdale Terrace around 10 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived at the scene, the found a man that had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

The Madison County Coroner has identified Jalil Mohammad as the man who was killed during a shooting in Oakdale Terrace on Thursday night. Mohammad, age 46, was killed around 10 p.m. on Jan. 16 on the 2700 block of Oakdale Terrace,
