Jamie Lee Curtis announced her departure from the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) with a pointed post on Instagram on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Jamie Lee Curtis is no longer on X. The Oscar-winning actor announced on Instagram that she’s deactivated her X account, writing in the caption: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And the wisdom to know the difference.”

Jamie Lee Curtis will no longer discuss trowma on Elon Musk’s X (f.k.a. Twitter). Today, the Everything Everywhere All At Once actor announced her departure from the site on Instagram—another platform owned by a Trump-congratulating billionaire, but it’s not like we have many superior options these days.

Jamie Lee Curtis is joining Don Lemon and getting rid of her X account which was formerly known as Twitter.  The 65-year-old actress revealed her exit from the social media platform through a direct post on Instagram on Wednesday,

The exits come amid President-elect Donald Trump announcing that Elon Musk (who acquired Twitter in 2022) and Vivek Ramaswamy will partner on an initiative titled Department of Government Efficiency.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And the wisdom to know the difference,” she wrote in the post, in reference to the oft-cited Serenity Poem, attributed to 20th century theologian Reinhold Niebuhr.
