The "Devil Wears Prada" sequel begins production this week, 20th Century Studios announced with a video teaser.

Kenneth Branagh is set to join the original cast members Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci for "The Devil Wears Prada 2." 20th Century Studios announced that the film was going into production June 30. Deadline reported Branagh's casting. IndieWire has reached out for comment.

The original film, based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 best-selling novel of the same name, followed aspiring journalist Andy Sachs (played by Hathaway) as she navigated the cutthroat world of fashion journalism under the demanding editor Miranda.
