The Broncos rolled into Raymond James Stadium on Sunday and stunned the league by thumping the heretofore undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 26-7. The score makes plain that it wasn't even close, but what the final tally doesn't tell you is how Nix jumped on the Bucs defense early and never let up.

It took slightly longer than perhaps he had hoped it would, but the Denver Broncos won their first game with rookie Bo Nix at quarterback Sunday. And the visibly happy, relieved 24-year-old was asked if he let it all soak in a bit.

Nix rushed for a touchdown and threw for 216 yards to help the Broncos knock off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-7 at Raymond James Stadium. The 2024 first-round passer earned his first career win as a starting quarterback for the Broncos (1-2). Nix ended up completing 25 of his 36 passes resulting in an 85.0 passer rating.
