The NFL is officially back in full swing. Weeks after many teams kicked off their spring programming with organized team activities (OTAs), mandatory minicamps got underway starting this week, serving up a healthy dose of storylines in advance of the 2025 campaign.

Elsewhere at practice Tuesday, Christian Gonzalez starred, DeMario Douglas out-shined all the wideouts, a rising pass rusher nabbed his second sack in as many days and a rookie maintained his lead in a major position battle.

The New England Patriots were the first team to start mandatory minicamp Monday, while the majority of the league will start Tuesday (some teams are still in voluntary OTAs and will have mandatory minicamp next week).

For the second straight open practice, Drake Maye was sharp under center — specifically when things moved into the red area for the final two competitive 11-on-11 periods. Down near the goal line, the second-year quarterback had back-to-back touchdowns to TreVeyon Henderson out of the backfield before hitting Kendrick Bourne in the back right corner of the end zone.
