It’s Friday, June 13 and the White Sox (23-46) are in Arlington to take on the Rangers (33-36). Adrian Houser is slated to take the mound for Chicago against Texas.

There were new nameplates above a couple of lockers in the White Sox clubhouse before Saturday’s game with the Rangers -- starting pitcher Aaron Civale and first baseman Ryan Noda, both of whom were acquired by the club on Friday.

Those bullpen games have been quite a relief for the Texas Rangers. With Nathan Eovaldi still on the injured list and Tyler Mahle dealing with shoulder stiffness, the Rangers twice in the past week have gone with bullpen games.
