Yolo County declares a Local Health Emergency to address the aftermath of the Oakdale Fire fireworks explosion and calls for environmental assessment and cleanup.

Officials have declared a local health emergency after the Esparto fireworks explosion that killed seven people in July.

According to a county press release sent out Monday morning, to facilitate the review, Yolo County’s Public Health Officer has declared a Local Health Emergency for properties impacted by the incident.
