While it is unclear whether Democratic vice presidential hopeful Tim Walz heeded Taylor Swift ’s instructions to “take the moment and taste it,” there is photographic evidence that he at least wore the friendship bracelets at Tuesday evening’s VP debate in New York City.

On X, after Swifties for Kamala clocked the friendship bracelets, writing, “ [Tim Walz] wore friendship bracelets on the debate stage and we're trying to play it cool with the best of them,” Walz himself quote-tweeted the post.

The subtle fashion statement, seen in quick flashes on the screen, appeared to be a nod to Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris.
