Several United Nations agencies are again sounding the alarm on the rapid deterioration of humanitarian conditions in much of Gaza and the civilian toll of more than a year of Israeli military operations.

Gaza's civil defence agency has said 30 people, including 13 children, were killed in Israeli strikes on two houses in the north of the Palestinian territory.
