Dave Chappelle will receive the President's Award at the 56th NAACP Image Awards, while the Wayans Family get inducted into the NAACP Hall of Fame.

The Wayans family, who through film, TV, sketch and stand-up comedy, have both entertained and created countless jobs both on and off camera in Hollywood, will be feted at this year’s NAACP Image Awards.

The NAACP Image Awards will honor the legendary Wayans family with an induction into the Hall of Fame in 2025.

Past recipients of the prestigious honor include Muhammad Ali, Jay-Z, Spike Lee, Jesse Jackson, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Jay-Z, Rihanna, LeBron James, Usher, Kerry Washington, Lauryn Hill and Gabrielle Union-Wade and Dwyane Wade.

The sometimes controversial performer will receive the award at the 56th NAACP Image Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

The NAACP announced on Thursday (Feb. 13) that the Wayans family would be inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame during the 2025 NAACP Image Awards on Feb. 22. The broadcast will be extended by 30 minutes in honor of the historic moment.
