The Edmonton Oilers saw their four-game winning streak come to an end on Thursday (Jan. 9), with a 5-3 loss to the host Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena.

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby moved onto ninth place on the NHL’s all-time scoring list after Thursday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers. An assist in the first period gave Crosby his 1,642nd career point, which put him ahead of Colorado Avalanche legend and Hall of Famer Joe Sakic.
