Crews at NASA's Kennedy Space Center and neighboring Cape Canaveral Space Force Station are gearing up for a busy February, primarily comprised of SpaceX Starlink internet satellite missions and the NASA-SpaceX Intuitive Machines moon lander mission.

A National Weather Service dense fog advisory was in effect during the 5:15 a.m. EST liftoff for northern Brevard County and coastal Volusia County.

SpaceX is aiming for liftoff of its Falcon 9 rocket early Tuesday morning. The vehicle will send 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities, into low-Earth orbit. The satellites are used to increase the company’s internet capability to locations around the globe.
