Girl Scout Cookie season began on Jan. 7, and with that came the news that two cookie varieties will not be sold after this year. Girl Scout cookies have been sold for over a century.

Two kinds of Girl Scout cookies will be pulled from their delectable lineup after the 2025 season. In an announcement made by the Girl Scouts of the USA, the flavors that customers will be bidding adieu are Toast-Yay! and S’mores, CNN reported.

The kick-off to the annual Girl Scout Cookies season is nearly here for Connecticut residents.

The Girl Scouts plan to retire Girl Scout S’mores and Toast-Yay! cookie flavors at the end of the 2025 season. This year's cookie lineup includes all of the classics, including Thin Mints, and a number of other flavors: A $6 box of Girl Scout cookies can either be purchased online, or in-person at cookie booths across the country.

Through Jan. 25, the neighborhoods in 40 counties across western and central North Carolina will see local Girl Scouts participating in Walk-About Week for the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie Program as they sell the famous cookies door-to-door,

"It's one of our four pillars, right? Entrepreneurship. So Girl Scouts learn everything there is to learn about entrepreneurship through selling cookies."

Girl Scout cookie season kicked off formally on Monday, but here are some important things to know: For now, cookies are only being sold online at ilovecookies.org, but not all troops in Northern California from Gilroy to Oregon border are set up to sell the cookies this way.
