Wolf Creek in Lawrenceville flows into the Yellow River and there is a high probability there could be flooding in the area if we get more than half a foot of rain in 24-48 hours.

ATLANTA — Helene has been upgraded to a hurricane and is approaching the coast. The storm is expected to make landfall along the Florida panhandle on Thursday evening or early Friday as a hurricane before it weakens a tad and makes its way on up to Georgia -- where it is expected the state will see heavy rains and potential for strong winds.
