Chicago rapper Lil Durk has pleaded not guilty following his indictment by a grand jury on felony charges in connection with an alleged murder-for-hire plot that targeted rapper Quando Rondo, which could leave Lil Durk facing life in prison if he’s convicted.

Rapper Lil Durk has hired Drew Findling, a highly regarded criminal defense attorney, to represent him in a murder-for-hire case.

Durk was arrested last month and charged with conspiracy to use interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death. He’s also facing two additional weapons-related charges. Prosecutors allege that Lil Durk and five other men allegedly associated with the rapper’s Only the Family (OTF) collective sought to kill the rapper Quando Rondo as revenge for the murder of King Von.

Lil Durk’s legal fight for his freedom has officially begun. Yesterday (November 14), the “ All My Life ” rapper was arraigned in Los Angeles federal court for the murder-for-hire plot of fellow rapper Quando Rondo and firearms charges he was hit with over the past several weeks.

The Lil Durk case is yet another troubling example of the criminal justice system intersecting Hip Hop in the most violent of ways.
