Oscar Piastria baited Max Verstappen into corner No. 1, slid behind his rear wing and overtook him on lap No. 14 for a lead he would never lose Sunday en route to a dominant Miami Grand Prix victory.

The FIA has reportedly found nothing illegal with McLaren's new brake and tyre cooling system that has seen Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris shoot to the top of the F1 driver standings. Aussie driver Piastri has won three races in a row and four on the season,

The win marks Piastri's fourth of the season after he picked up wins at the Heineken Chinese Grand Prix in March and the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and SRC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in April. The 24-year-old Australian has now doubled his win total from a year ago.
