Just days after being recognized by the Michelin Guide, a Houston restaurant has been removed from their list of Bib Gourmand selections. The Michelin Guide announced Thursday morning that Kâu Ba had been removed from their list.

Michelin released its Texas guide, and 15 restaurants across the state earned a star, including six Houston-area restaurants. Why it matters: A Michelin Guide endorsement brings restaurants international acclaim and recognition of Houston's diverse food scene.

Michelin Guide awards first one-star ratings to Houston restaurants such as Tatemó, Le Jardinier and March while several barbecue joints received Bib Gourmands.
