Oklahoma state education boss Ryan Walters has denied watching pornography during a meeting last week. The superintendent of public instruction, known for his anti-LGBTQ+ and “anti-woke” rhetoric, said the allegations that he was watching explicit content during a Board of Education meeting were “categorically false”.

Board member Chris Van Denhende says he's more concerned with State Superintendent Ryan Walters' plan to test teachers who transfer from other states, and Walters' violation of state statute.

On Monday, the State Office of Management and Enterprise Services asked the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office to look into whether any laws were broken.
