Saquon Barkley won't be breaking Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record. The Philadelphia Eagles running back will rest on Sunday along with a number of his teammates, according to head coach Nick Sirianni.

The Philadelphia Eagles will officially rest Saquon Barkley, effectively ending his chance at securing the rushing yards record from Eric Dickerson.

Dickerson broke O.J. Simpson's previous rushing yards record in 1984, almost a decade after the former Heisman Trophy winner set his mark. Now, 40 years after Dickerson's incredible feat, Barkley has the chance to make his own history... and hopefully the Eagles give him that chance.
