An 18-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Thursday night in Northeast Portland, police said. Officers responded about 11:30 p.m. to the area of Northeast 72nd Avenue and Prescott Street, where they found the man. He was taken to a hospital, and police believe his injuries are not life threatening.

Anaheim police fatally shot a man while responding a report of a possible robbery in a neighborhood where investigators later discovered a replica firearm, authorities said Saturday.

A 'realistic-looking replica firearm' was located at the scene and officers rendered first aid to the man after shooting him, a police statement said.
