Eccentric former Red Sox closer was thrilled to see old teammate elected to the Hall of Fame
Earlier this week, former Boston Red Sox reliever Billy Wagner was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum's Class of 2025 after a 10-year wait on the ballot. Wagner played with the Red Sox for just a couple of months in 2009, but he made an impact with some of Boston's best, including closer Jonathan Papelbon.
