The U is looking to create a new nonprofit partnership as its longtime affiliation with Fairview approaches its end.
The nurses will be out of work until Monday, Feb. 10 at 7 a.m. due to contractual obligations of their replacement staff.
This is the second time the nurses have gone on strike in six months as they try to negotiate a contract with LCMC Health.
