Faulty second-row headrests may not lock in the upright position, increasing the risk of injury to passengers, according to federal safety regulators.

Owners of popular 2023-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Jeep Grand Cherokee L models will have to go to their dealers to see if their second row headrests are faulty.

Stellantis officially issues a recall for over 121,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L models. Models at risk were released during 2023 and 2024. The second-row head restraints might not lock in the upright position. As a result, the head restraint could increase the risk of injuries during certain types of crashes.
