The Pirates traded Taylor Rogers to the Chicago Cubs, while the San Francisco Giants traded his brother, Tyler Rogers, to the New York Mets.

The Chicago Cubs did what they could to acquire starting pitching help from the Miami Marlins but it wasn't meant to be.

The Brewers also acquired starter Jordan Montgomery in the Miller swap, but Montgomery is out for the season and a free agent after the year. Miller is likewise injured but should be back in August.
