The South Carolina Gamecocks have played two quarterbacks all season. Shane Beamer has now hinted at playing them both at the same time.

Beamer said Thursday on his weekly radio call-in show that coaches still aren’t certain if Sellers will start the game or play against the Zips (7:30 p.m., ESPNU). Sellers injured his ankle in the first half of last week’s game against LSU. He came back in for one series in the second half, but he was limited and didn’t play the rest of the game.

Sellers suffered an ankle injury in the loss to LSU. He helped South Carolina jump out to a 24-10 1st half lead with 4- and 75-yard rushing scores. In limited action, Sellers had the 88 rushing yards and 2 scores, also going 9-of-16 passing for 113 yards.

After a couple days to put the LSU game behind them, South Carolina Gamecocks' head coach Shane Beamer met with the media to discuss his team's upcoming night game vs Akron. While at the podium, Coach Beamer was asked about some of the SEC's responses to the penalties from Saturday as well as what he would like to see from his team entering next week's bye.
