Tropical Storm Dexter continues to strengthen and is expected to become a strong extratropical low over the North Atlantic over the next several hours, according to the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center.

The National Hurricane Center on Wednesday continued to keep track of Tropical Storm Dexter as well as two developing Atlantic systems that could become the season’s next tropical depression

Tropical Storm Dexter is expected to continue strengthening as it transitions to a post-tropical cyclone this week. The storm may even develop hurricane force winds which would certainly impact Atlantic shipping lanes.
