Ryan Preece is becoming quite used to flying down the backstretch at Daytona International Speedway. After taking a terrifying tumble at Daytona in August of 2023, Preece flipped at the "World Center of Racing" again in Sunday's Daytona 500 in a big crash on lap 196.

While the Daytona 500 was a thoroughly compelling race, it was hard to look past the accident involving Ryan Preece and not wonder how horribly wrong things could have gone had a few cars hit a few different places on the track.

Preece was referring to the wreck he endured on Sunday at Daytona International Speedway: the one where he was knocked in the side by an out-of-control Christopher Bell, into Erik Jones, and up into the air at 190-plus miles per hour — floating and flipping upside down until he crashed into the wall, almost into the fence.
