Ukraine brought home 303 prisoners of war on May 25 in the final phase of a 1000-for-1000 prisoner exchange with Russia, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced. The prisoner exchange took place in three phases carried out over three days and was agreed on during peace talks held in Turkey on May 16,

The general staff of Ukraine's military acknowledged no such losses, referring to Otradne as one of several towns where Ukrainian troops had halted 18 frontline Russian attacks.

"Without really strong pressure on the Russian leadership, this cruelty cannot be stopped," Ukraine's president said.

Ukrainian capital, Kyiv and other regions came under a massive Russian drone-and-missile attack that killed at least 12 people and injured dozens.
