CM Punk appeared on the September 24 episode of WWE NXT. In a backstage segment, Punk could be seen speaking with Je’Von Evans. Trick Williams approached Punk and spoke about the upcoming NXT Championship match where he will challenge Ethan Page for the gold.

CM Punk is officially part of the "WWE NXT" debut on the CW Network in his hometown of Chicago on October 1, and he'll be getting in the ring as a referee.

A new match is set for the WWE NXT premiere episode on The CW. NXT GM Ava announced during this week’s show that Jaida Parker & Lola Vice will team against two members of Fatal Influence on the Tuesday,
