New details about Gene Hackman's health have been revealed in a final autopsy released two months after his death at age 95. The actor was found dead at his home, along with wife Betsy Arakawa.

PEOPLE obtained a final autopsy report regarding Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy's February deaths on Sunday, April 27. New Mexico's Office of the Medical Investigator ruled on Feb. 27 that Gene died of hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease,
