Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Country music star Kenny Chesney has signed on to play a residency at Sphere Las Vegas. The Grammy winner will kick off his run of 12 concerts on Memorial Day weekend. Tickets go on sale Tuesday. Chesney toured last year with the Zac Brown Band. His most recent album, Born, was released in 2024.

Kenny Chesney is Sphere-bound. The country star announced Thursday that he’ll launch a 12-date residency at the state-of-the-art dome-shaped venue in Las Vegas in May, nine months after he wrapped a U.S. tour that hit Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium in July.

Kenny Chesney will be the next headliner at Sphere in Las Vegas, the country superstar announced exclusively on TODAY on Jan. 16. The “There Goes My Life” singer, 56, will be the first country act to headline there.
