Back in December, if the Giants had revealed a list of their Shedeur Sanders scouting touch points compared to their work on Jaxson Dart, no one would have imagined Dart as their NFL Draft target

The Giants traded back into the first round and selected quarterback Jaxson Dart with the 25th pick in the NFL draft. For months, there was speculation on whether the team would use the third overall pick on Shedeur Sanders or trade back into the first round for the Colorado product if he made it past the Steelers.

Not long after the Giants selected Abdul Carter with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll descended from the second floor of the team facility to discuss the fairly easy decision to go with Carter.
