While reading through the list of Grammy nominees earlier I came across quite a surprise. There, competing for record of the year alongside the likes of Beyoncé's Texas Hold 'Em and Chappell Roan's Good Luck Babe, was Now and Then by The Beatles. No, to my dismay, this isn't a time travel situation, but the result of AI.

The Beatles earned their first Grammy nominations since 1997 on Friday. The Fab Four earned two nods for their latest – and “last” – song “Now and Then,” with their nod in the record of the year category sitting among contemporary artists including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish.

Their final song, called “Now and Then,” was restored last year with the help of AI, and is now up for record of the year alongside the likes of Beyoncé, Charlie XCX, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift.
