A tornado warning has been issued for parts of Salem, Gloucester and Camden counties on Thursday afternoon as severe storms slam the state. The warning is active through 3:45 p.m. Severe storms hitting New Jersey have triggered numerous flood and thunderstorm warnings. An earlier tornado warning has expired.

On Thursday at 11:43 a.m. EDT the National Weather Service released an updated tornado warning in effect until 12:15 p.m. EDT for Cheboygan County.
