A massive Russian attack on Kyiv that killed several people and injured dozens came hours after peace talks appeared to stall and President Trump lashed out at Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he would cut short his official trip to South Africa and return home as the city reeled. The bombardment appeared to be Russia’s biggest attack on Kyiv in nine months, and Zelensky called it one of Russia’s ”most outrageous.”
