Temelec is the name of an unincorporated area just outside the town of Sonoma, California. The census tract of "Temelec" consists of four major communities of single family homes, each with their own Home Owners Association - Temelec, Creekside, Chanterelle and Seven Flags.

The gracious mansion that is now the center of the Temelec community was constructed by frontiersman and Bear Flag revolutionary Granville Swift in 1858. He was born in 1821, his great-uncle the legendary Daniel Boone.

Temelec is a census-designated place in Sonoma County, California. It includes four major adult communities – Temelec, Creekside, Chanterelle and Seven Flags. May 26, 2014 · Now here’s the punch line of this tale: swarming bees reproduced in our area are already adapted to Temelec’s microclimate. So after a couple of days in Nadya’s care, the bees will be delivered to a beekeeper who (wait for it) lives in Creekside!

Jun 30, 2014 · Temelec’s TRIP TO MARE ISLAND was on June 26. A good time was had by all! Mare Island was opened in 1884 to build military ships; over 500 were built there.
