Enjoy a scenic view of Lawrence's Clinton Lake from the top (or bottom) of Sanders Mound. If you’re more adventurous, you can amble down to the lakeshore and observe gulls, egrets and herons on the water. The trail begins from the observation deck at Lookout Park, descends to a native prairie, then climbs to the top of the hill.
