Today in L&S HERstory… January 5, 1982: Our hopes of a Shirley/Carmine wedding were dashed when the episode “I Do, I Don’t” aired. A couple cancels their lavish, already-paid-for wedding, and Shirley jumps at the chance to marry Carmine in the wedding of her (and our) dreams. We finally got Shirley Feeney and Carmine Ragusa to the literal altar… and they didn’t get married. (Nevertheless, it’s still one of my personal favorite season seven episodes.)
