On 15 August 2017 the very first robot-assisted partial knee replacement surgery took place at North Shore Hospital using the MAKO Surgical Robot. To date 392 MAKO surgeries have been undertaken at the hospital's Elective Surgery Centre. We thought it was time the Well Foundation team got to try it out, under the expert guidance of the surgical team and a model leg.
