This weave flourished during the regime of Peshwas, Mughals and the Nizams and has been kept alive by the weavers for generations. Crafted with handwoven silk, Paithani sarees feature a rich and intricate zari pallu and borders. Distinguished by their unique weaving process. The entire process - from dying of the yarn to weaving, is done by hand.
